About Me
I grew up on the east coast of Scotland, spending most weekends exploring and fishing along the rugged shores of the East Neuk of Fife and the Angus coastline. That early connection to the sea led me into a 15-year career in the Merchant Navy as a Navigation Officer, and today I work as a Search and Rescue Coordinator for HM Coastguard. It’s fair to say I’ve always been drawn to the water in all its forms. For the past 10 years, canoeing and kayaking have become a huge part of my life, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than being out on the water and sharing that passion, experience, and sense of adventure with others.
